First Five-Star Hotel to Go Up in Can Tho

Authorities of Can tho have decided on the building of the first five-star hotel in the city, the hub of the Mekong Delta.
The hotel will cover nine hectares in the city’s center in Ninh Kieu District. It will include 18 levels, an 800-seat hall, 243 rooms and many other facilities.

The top level will be a rotating restaurant where diners will be able to watch Can tho from above.

Can Tho, about 170 km southwest of Ho chi minh city is a lovely and thriving city by the Hau River. It is home to some busy floating markets and a big university, part of which is the Mekong Rice Research Institute.

To the joy of tourists, Can Tho is surrounded by a myriad of canals, rice fields and orchards.
