Gala Celebrates 20 Years of Miss Viet Nam

A gala celebrating 20 years of Miss Viet nam will be held at the Ha noi Cultural Friendship Palace this evening.

Ten former and current Miss Viet Nams will participate, including Miss Bui Bich Phuong (1988), Miss Ha Kieu Anh (1992), Miss Nguyen Thu Thuy (1994), Miss Nguyen Thien Nga (1996), Miss Ngoc Khanh (1998), Miss Phan Thu Ngan (2000), Miss Pham Thi Mai Phuong (2002), Miss Nguyen Thi Huyen (2004) and Miss Tran Thi Thuy Dung (2008).

In addition, the top ten beauties of Miss Viet nam 2008, including first runner-up Phan Hoang Minh Thu and the second runner up Nguyen Thuy Van, will appear.

Singers Phuong Thanh, Ho Quynh Huong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Kasim Hoang Vu, Duc Tuan, Le Hieu, Luu Huong Giang, Phuong Anh, Ngoc Khue will also appear on stage. There will also be dancers from the Viet Nam Light Music Theater.

The audience will have a chance to listen to the pageant winners share their memories, experiences and daily activities after being crowned.

The gala will be broadcast live on Viet Nam Television’s VTV2 channel.
