Prizes Awarded for Tourism Photography Contest

Photographer Nguyen Van Quang was awarded first prize in a competition entitled “Tourism Beautiful Photographs 2007” sponsored by the Vietravel Company. The winning photo is entitled Yêu văn hóa Việt (Love of Vietnamese culture).
The company awarded second prize to Huynh Anh Tuan for his work “Ha Long Bay” and the third prize to Nguyen Vinh Hien for "Various cultures" at an award ceremony Monday. The three-month competition attracted more than 1,000 professional and amateur photographers, both artists and tourists.
 
The organizers received over 3,000 photos of daily activities, festivities and historical relics across the country. At the ceremony, the organizers announced that Vietravel’s next photo competition would have the same theme.
