The book, the third of its kind to be released by the university’s Centre of Vietnamese Studies, explores the development of Vietnamese culture.

It also highlights specific traditional features of Vietnamese society during various periods of time.

The yearbook also includes a number of articles on the life and work of painter Nguyen Phan Chanh and writer Thach Lam, two famous artists in Vietnam

The modern press in the Southeast Asian nation is also mentioned in the book.
