Foreigner tells interesting story about Vietnamese music
Jason Michael Gibbs, an American working at the San Francisco Public Library, California, tells an enjoyable story about Vietnamese music in his “Rock Hanoi and Rumba Cuu Long - A story of Vietnamese music” book, which has been translated into Vietnamese by translator Nguyen Truong Quy.
Russia issues third yearbook on Vietnamese culture
Russia’s Moscow State University (MGU) recently published another yearbook about Vietnam’s culture titled “ Vietnam: Tradition.”
Prizes Awarded for Tourism Photography Contest
Photographer Nguyen Van Quang was awarded first prize in a competition entitled “Tourism Beautiful Photographs 2007” sponsored by the Vietravel Company. The winning photo is entitled Yêu văn hóa Việt (Love of Vietnamese culture).
